Veritas careers are seeking on behalf of our client a qualified accountant to take on the role of Financial Director for a family owned dealer group.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience of working in a motor-trade business.

Leading your team, and reporting directly to the Group MD, you will be responsible for:

• Day to day processing of transactions in an accurate and timely manner.
• Undertaking robust financial analysis to help identify areas of potential profit improvement and cost reduction.
• Maintaining and reviewing KPI trends across the businesses.
• Governance responsibility for internal audits.
• Building relationships with client banking services and external auditors.
• Involvement with management meetings to set group policy.
